Crumbs of Happiness

Happiness eludes us because we look for it from afar. We need to learn that joy comes from appreciation of the simple things. “A quiet hour in the sun, a few pages of a book, a flash of sunset, a beautiful flower, a passing smile, a kindly word, a little gift — these are the crumbs of happiness.”
