KINDNESS AND COURAGE
On the chimney of an old farmhouse in New England these lines were written: “Two things stand in stone – kindness in another’s troubles and courage in one’s own.” Everyone can practice those “two things that stand like stone.” We can show kindness to others in trouble and show courage in accepting and overcoming our own troubles.
