WHO/WHAT: Temari Hawai‘i presents its 40th Trash & Treasure Fair, where attendees can shop for handmade gifts, clothing and accessories and treasures crafted by new and veteran artists. Also available to purchase are donated collections of textiles, ceramics and prints as well as products, collections and treasures donated by community partners and its members from the Japanese Cultural Center of Hawai‘i, Mō‘ili‘ili Community Center, Nichiren Sect Mission of Hawai‘i, Hui O Laulima, Hawai‘i Stitchery & Fiber Arts Guild and Ukwanshin Kabudan. Bamboo Catering will be providing ‘ono grinds during the fair.

WHEN/WHERE: Sunday, Nov. 5, 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Japanese Cultural Center of Hawai‘i, Generations Ballroom, 5th floor, 2454 S. Beretania St. A purchase of $10 or more at the JCCH gift shop comes with 4 hours of parking.

TICKETS: Early entry for JCCH and Temari Hawai‘i members 8 to 9 a.m. Open to the general public 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Admission is free.
