WHO/WHAT: The Jodo Mission of Hawai‘i will be holding a Dharma Light Relay Ceremony of Nenbutsu to commemorate Jodo Shu’s upcoming 850th Anniversary. A candle will be passed down to various representatives and ministers from statewide Jodo Mission temples, starting at the Seiryuji to the Chionin temple. Light refreshments will be served after the service, and a special Koto Concert will be held after the refreshments at 1 p.m.
