WHO/WHAT: Temari Hawai’i and East-West Center are holding an exhibit that features works demonstrating folding traditions, techniques and practices from across the Asia Pacific region. This exhibit explores how the act of folding draws people together, strengthens existing community connections and creates new communities of practice. On select days there will be demonstrations, cultural booths and activities available.

WHEN/WHERE: The exhibit runs until Sunday, April 16 until 4 p.m. and closes with a special “In the Folds” event, from 12 p.m- 6 p.m; East-West Center Gallery, John A. Burns Hall, 1601 East-West Rd. Admission is free, no RSVP required. Parking is managed by the University of Hawai’i at Mānoa; parking fees apply. Parking on Sundays is free.
