
WHO/WHAT: For the first time in three years, the annual Honolulu African American Film Festival returns to an entirely in-person event with screenings throughout the month of February. Features, documentaries and shorts, regarding Black history and culture, will be highlighted among many of the coinciding panel discussions on issues impacting our society today. The program is presented in collaboration with the Honolulu African American Film Festival committee: Daphne Barbee-Wooten, Ethan Caldwell, Akiemi Glenn, Tadia Rice, Sandra Simms and Sharon Yarbrough.
