WHO/WHAT: The Regional Center Workshop with the Asian Studies Program at Belmont University hosts a free two-hour webinar exploring the dynamics of inclusion for Asian American and Pacific Islander students. Keynote speaker Karen Umemoto, professor in the departments of urban planning and Asian American studies, will discuss the changing narrative of race relations on American college and university campuses and the communities they serve. A panel discussion will follow, with Dennis Cha-bin Chen, Nicole Crane, Peter Nien-chu Kiang and Doyuen Ko, reflecting on how to translate diversity commitments into initiatives. The workshop is part of the professional development ASDP Regional Center Workshop series.
