
WHO/WHAT: Join the Ikebana International, Honolulu Chapter 56 for their free biennial ikebana exhibition. The chapter celebrates 60 years of teaching and sharing Japanese culture in Hawai‘i through the study and practice of ikebana. The celebration includes an ikebana demonstration conducted by Naohiro Kasuya, headmaster of the Ichiyo School of Ikebana, a luncheon, two hands-on workshops for members and a two-day Splendors of Ikebana public exhibition featuring ikebana arrangements created with baskets. The event is supported by the Ikebana Iwaya Fund and the Japanese Women’s Society Foundation.
