WHO/WHAT: Get inside the mind of a criminal and learn to recognize tactics used to steal from kūpuna as AARP Hawai‘i hosts a month of Fraud Watch Friday webinars and events in May. Honolulu Deputy Prosecutor Scott Spallina will start the series by sharing real-life examples of financial crimes against kūpuna and explain how fraudsters build trust with their victims. Other webinars will look at the top frauds reported in Hawai‘i and how to protect your personal information online. The webinars and events are free and you do not have to be an AARP member to attend.
