WHO/WHAT: In celebration of Japan’s Kodomo no Hi (Children’s Day), the Japanese Cultural Center of Hawai‘i presents its first ever Hanafuda Hangout. This family friendly event will feature a hanafuda lesson, assistance from expert hanafuda sensei, snacks and refreshments, and a keiki area with Children’s Day and hanafuda-themed activities. WHEN/WHERE: Saturday, May 7, 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Japanese Cultural Center of Hawaii Ballroom, 2454 S. Beretania St., 5th Floor.

COST: Adults (JCCH members), $10; adults (non-members), $12; keiki ages 17 and younger are free. Parking validation will be provided with a $10 or greater purchase from the JCCH Gift Shop.
