WHO/WHAT: Sponsored by the Japan-America Society of Hawaii, Asian-Pacific Children’s Convention Hybrid Asia-Pacific Junior Ambassador Program will choose four students aged 10 to 11 to serve as JASH’s 2022 junior ambassadors. As a result of the ongoing pandemic, APCC will also hold a Zoom program from July through August that will allow over 200 children from over 50 different Asian-Pacific countries and regions to collaborate on various virtual projects and activities. This event will continue to form bonds between the U.S., Japan, and many more regions around the Pacific. Invaluable life skills such as cross-cultural understanding, multilingual communication, leadership and teamwork can be acquired throughout the curriculum.
