WHO/WHAT: Explore Japan without having to leave the island as the Higashi Hongwanji Mission of Hawaii presents the Nomi No Ichiba Flea Market. Visitors will get to browse through an international boutique filled with kimono and obi, antiques, tea sets, dolls and wall hangings to choose from. There will also be men’s and women’s clothing, holiday crafts, sporting goods, housewares, a garden tent, origami folding demonstrations, and a book signing by, “Ikigai: Life’s Purpose” writer (pen name Chiemi Souen) and The Hawai‘i Herald’s own editor, Jodie Chiemi Ching.
