WHO/WHAT: Japan-America Society of Hawaii will join together with the non-profit organization Akahiao Nature Institute and present the second part of the two-part virtual workshop series, Edible World: Nature that Connects Us. In the first session, we were taken on an exclusive tour of ANI’s Hu‘ehu‘e Ranch in Kona, Hawai‘i Island to explore their bountiful food garden and the specific impacts of a plant-based tea, which serves as a social connector around the globe. This time, the session will sort and explain all the food items that nature provides and helps to nurture our bodies.
WHEN/WHERE: Saturday, Nov. 13, 10 a.m. Sign up to be a part of the virtual workshop by going to bit.ly/3AexUac. To learn more about Akahiao Nature Institute, go to akahiao.org
