WHO/WHAT: The University of Southern California’s Shinso Ito Center for Japanese Religions and Culture concludes its “Black + Japanese American Reparations Book Club” virtual series with a discussion of the 2020 book “Redress: The Inside Story of the Successful Campaign for Japanese American Reparations,” by former internee and JACL Director John Tateishi.

This series explores connections between the African American pursuit of reparations for slavery with the past internment of and restorative justice for Japanese Americans.
