WHO/WHAT: Buy huge, fresh Mililani-grown veggies and fruits! The Japanese spiritual organization Honbushin International Center invites you to delight in this twice-monthly sale of beautiful produce, herbs, plants and other locally produced food items.  Items for sale also include packaged/jarred delights from HIC’s Manaloa Products (including coffee), plus the occasional hot or freshly baked eats — even potted plants.

WHEN/WHERE: Saturday, July 24, from 9-11 a.m., is the next drive-through pick-up Vegetable Bazaar of pre-ordered items.

PREORDERS can be put in from Wednesday, July 21, 8 a.m. through Thursday, July 22, noon. Call or email preorders (listed in hichawaii.com/vegetable-market) to (808) 623-7693 or honbushinhawaii@gmail.com. Your order is not guaranteed until you get a confirmation from Honbushin, so call them if you do not receive confirmation within 24 hours of your order.

On Saturday during pickup, move your vehicle around the big tree at 95-030 Waihonu St., Mililani, where facemasked HIC staff will collect cash, check or credit cards (with the last including an additional 3% processing fee) and hand over your products and veggies/fruits. Bring your own bag/box so they can put them in those containers.

During this bazaar, the Mini Vegetable Open Market sells food items in the warehouse next to the pool, close to the drive-by pick-up, including café drinks and desserts. You do not have to preorder these items in advance.
