WHO/WHAT: The Japan-America Society of Hawaii is a Festival Partner for the Hawaiʻi International Film Festival’s virtual J-FEST, co-presented by First Insurance Company of Hawaii. Streaming eight Japanese features over 10 days, J-FEST presents films “Aristocrats,” “Around the Table,” “The Cornered Mouse Dreams of Cheese,” “Hotel Royal,” “Ito,” “Jazz Kissa Basie,” “Tengaramon” and “Wife of a Spy.” Family movies, films about women, LGBTQ stories, other scripted (fiction) films and documentaries are included as well as some prerecorded Q&A with the filmmakers.
