WHO/WHAT: The Honolulu Japanese Junior Chamber of Commerce is partnering with the Blood Bank of Hawaii for its next community service project. As the sponsoring organization, HJJCC is in charge of helping to fill blood-donation appointments at all donor center locations.

With only about 2% of Hawai‘i’s population donating blood, The Blood Bank of Hawaii is in need of about 200 donors each day. HJJCC is asking for your support during this difficult time. One pint of blood can save up to three lives. Visit The Blood Bank of Hawaii’s site at bbh.org to see if you possess the qualifications to donate.

WHEN/WHERE: Sunday, March 7-Saturday, March 13. Visit bbh.org to schedule an appointment (or for updates and other donation opportunities) or contact (808) 848-4770 using HJJC Week’s group code 3120.
