TRULY FORGIVING?
A man was dying. He was asked to become reconciled with a neighbor with whom he had quarreled. He agreed and the neighbor was brought in. They shook hands and expressed mutual forgiveness. As the neighbor was about to go, the sick man said, ”But remember, if I get well, this doesn’t count.” How forgiving we are at times.
