WHO/WHAT: A virtual orientation on the prestigious Crown Prince Aki-hito Scholarship will answer questions of any potential applicants. The $45,000 scholarship covers one year of study in Japan, including a $30,000 award plus $15,000 annual allowance for tuition and one-time roundtrip air-fare from Honolulu to Japan. Applicants should be U.S. graduate students at the University of Hawaiʻi-Mānoa pursuing study in topic(s) that lead to im-proved understanding between Japan and the U.S.
