WHO/WHAT: The Maui County Dept. of Environmental Management will collect household hazardous waste items from Maui residents (homes only, not firms), including: aerosols, antifreeze, car batteries, household batteries, fire extinguishers, fluorescent bulbs and tubes, oil-based paint, old medications, pesticides, solvents, thermometers and more.
WHEN/WHERE: By Monday, June 15, Mauians should call Cameron Chemical Corp at 995-2999 with a list of items they will drop off.
Collection is Sunday, June 28; when calling for an appointment, you can arrange with CCC a central Maui location and time to hand over the items.
