WHO/WHAT: The Hawaii Buddhist Council will celebrate the attainment of perfect awakening by Shakyamuni Buddha some 2,500 years ago. Guest speaker Dr. Manulani Aluli Meyer will present a talk entitled, “Ho‘oulu: This Time of Transformation.” The service will be followed by handbell and shamisen musical performances.
