WHO/WHAT: Held in conjunction with The Visible Hand: Hawai‘i Craftsmen Statewide Exhibition, this workshop will provide a hands-on opportunity to work with Hawai‘i Craftsmen members while learning about the Raku process. Participants will glaze their own ceramic tea bowl and watch it being fired using the Raku technique. After it is cooled, participants may take their finished keepsake home.
WHEN/WHERE: Sunday, Sept. 8, 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. at the Art School at Honolulu Museum of Art.
