WHAT A CAST!
A playwright, looking up a number in a New York City telephone directory, commented, “Not much plot here but what a cast!” In the Honolulu telephone directory we find long lists of Yamamotos, Tanakas, Lees, Chings, Smiths, Fernandezes, and Ramoses. All religions, races and colors! Yes, Hawaii can play a great drama on the world’s stage.
