WHO/WHAT: Carnegie Hall . . . Here they come! Afuso Ryu Gensei Kai Hawaii will present a preview performance of the Okinawan koten (classical) and minyo (folk) music and dance numbers they will perform at Carnegie Hall in New York City and Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C., next month in honor of Choichi Terukina, their Okinawa sensei’s 88th birthday.
