WHO/WHAT: The Royal Hawaiian Band will present a special concert featuring music specially selected for seniors. Hawaiian music is the heart and soul of the Royal Hawaiian Band, but it also performs American tunes and songs from around the world. The Royal Hawaiian Band is one of the last living links to the Hawaiian monarchy and is currently an agency of the City and County of Honolulu.
WHEN/WHERE: Friday, Oct. 19, at 9:30 a.m. in the sanctuary of Manoa Valley Church (2728 Huapala St.), across from Manoa Marketplace and behind Starbucks. Manoa Valley Church is affiliated with the United Church of Christ. The free concert is open to the public. For more information, call 988-3271.
