WHO/WHAT: Honpa Hongwanji Mission of Hawaii will hold its eighth annual Peace Day Interfaith Celebration. “Cultivating Peace” is the theme for the evening of reflection and celebration. Chelsie Onaga, who is pursuing a degree in sustainable community food systems at UH-West Oahu will be the featured speaker along with Ho‘ola ‘Aina youth delegates. Sharing their culture and faiths will be the Honpa Hongwanji Betsuin Choir, ‘Ukulele Fellowship of Harris Methodist Church, Masago Asai and her daughters, Calvary by the Sea choir, Honolulu Hongwanji Dharma Schools, Hyaku Sen Ki Kai Taiko and the Mun Lun School Chinese Folk Dance Group.
