WHO/WHAT: Kaneohe Higashi Hongwanji Mission will hold a music festival featuring live performances by the Kaneohe Higashi Hongwanji Band, City Boys, Ten Feet and more. The festival will also feature songs by the temple’s resident minister, the Rev. Hideaki Nishihori. There will be food booths and a Buddhist service prior to the concert. Proceeds will benefit Holomua Na ‘Ohana — Weinberg Village Waimanalo.

WHEN/WHERE: Saturday, Aug. 18, at Kaneohe Higashi Hongwanji Mission (45-520 Kea‘ahala Rd.). Food booths open at 5 p.m., Buddhist service at 5:30 and live performances from 6-9:30 p.m.
