When Dr. William Osler was a young man, he picked up a book and read twenty-one words that had a profound effect upon luis future. The words which helped him lead a life free from worry were from Thomas Carlyle: “Our main business is not to see what lies dimly at a distance, but to do what lies clearly at hand.”
