WHO/WHAT: This commemoration of the 150th anniversary of the arrival of the Gannenmono will begin with an obon service conducted by the Rev. Toshiyuki Umitani of Moiliili Hongwanji Mission.
WHEN/WHERE: Sunday, July 15, at 4 p.m. at the Moiliili Japanese Cemetery (2702 Waiaka Rd.). The obon service will be preceded by an informal tour of the cemetery at 3 p.m. Bento dinner and obon music will be held at the Moiliili Hongwanji Mission (902 University Ave.) after the ceremony.
