WHO/WHAT: The BDK-Rev. (Yoshiaki) Fujitani Interfaith Program presents a talk by Dr. Jeff Wilson, professor of religious studies and East Asian Studies at Renison University College in Waterloo, Ontario, and this year’s Numata Professor of Buddhist Studies at the University of Hawai‘i at Manoa. Wilson will speak on “Buddhism in the Age of the Refugee: Confronting the Effects of War, Climate Change, Homelessness and Other Displacements.” The ordained minister of Jodo Shinshu Buddhism is a member of the Toronto Buddhist Church and has authored many books on Buddhism.
