WHO/WHAT: The Japanese Cultural Center of Hawai‘i and the National Park Service are hosting public tours to the Honouliuli National Monument, Hawai‘i’s largest and longest operating World War II detention camp.
Visitors will visit landmarks at the site and hear the personal stories of Japanese American prisoners and their families.
WHEN/WHERE: Wednesdays – April 11, May 9 and June 27. Check-in at 8 a.m. at JCCH; bus leaves at 8:20 a.m. for Honouliuli and returns to JCCH at 11:30 a.m.
