“Kimi wa Pet (You are My Pet),” premieres on Wednesday, Sept. 6, at 7:35 p.m.

Sumire works as a journalist at a major newspaper. She is a beautiful woman with both wit and charm, and the brains to graduate from both Tokyo University and Harvard. But she is terrible at relationships. She was dumped by her boyfriend who she thought she would marry, and she also gets demoted at work, bringing her to her lowest point in life.

One day, she finds a beautiful young homeless boy in front of her home and takes him in. She sees similarities in the boy and her beloved dog Momo that she used to own, and suggests that he live with her as a pet. Her time spent with him gradually becomes more and more relaxing. “Boku, Unmei no Hito Desu (I’m Your Destiny),” premieres on Friday, Sept. 8, at 7:35 p.m.

A strange man who claims to be “God” suddenly appears in front of Makoto Masaki and declares, “You haven’t realized it yet, but only a wall separates you from the one you must fall in love with, no matter what. The woman you’re destined to be with works in the office next door.” Makoto is skeptical at first, but he eventually decides to believe the prediction and goes for it.

“Please don’t be shocked. I’m your destiny,” he tells Haruko, who flat-out rejects him. That’s where their love story begins. Fully subtitled in English. Starring Tomohisa Yamashita and Kazuya Kamenashi.

“Mystery Hour – Iryu Sosa 2,” premieres on Tuesday, Sept. 19, at
7:35 p.m.

“Iryu Sosa” depicts the work of a group of detectives who solve murder cases by looking for clues in the articles left by victims. Satoshi Itomura is demoted from the Metropolitan Police Department First Investigation to the Tsukishima Police Station. A case then occurs in the normally peaceful Tsukishima District when Megumi, who works at the Tsukishima Police Station, is kidnapped. Fully subtitled in English.

Akine had lost her beloved mother at a very young age. Since then, Akine has held a grudge against her father. As soon as she graduated from high school, Akine left her hometown. Five years later, Akine returns to her hometown on the 13th anniversary of her mother’s death. Her father is getting ready for a festival, which happens once every 60 years, to perform his last dance, but something goes wrong . . .

The final episode of the adventures of two brothers, Hagimaru and Kikumaru. Hagimaru escapes from the curse of the Scull Mask while Kikumaru continues his fight against the evil Kojiro.

“Gajimaru Shokudo no Koi (Love at Gajimaru Diner), 2014 drama,

Directed by Kentaro Otani. Starring Haru and Yu Koyanagi.

Mizuho recently took over an eatery in Nago, Okinawa, which was left behind by her grandmother. She single-handedly runs “Gajimaru Diner” named after the large, deeply rooted Gajimaru (banyan) tree in the area. Eventually, circumstances lead to her being brought together with an unknown traveler named Hayato, her ex-boyfriend Shota who had lived in Tokyo for the past seven years, and a beautiful woman named Riko.

“Hana no Ran (The Rage of Love),” 1988 drama, 2 hours and 19 minutes.
