A Long Headache

Masefield is credited with this line: “Life’s a long headache in a noisy street.” We often get caught up in the incidentals of daily existence and lose sight of the meaning of life. Life gets to be “full of sound and fury, signifying nothing.” To recover life’s meaning, we would do well to spend a few minutes each day to think and meditate and pray.
