WHO/WHAT: Hawaii Kotohira Jinsha – Hawaii Dazaifu Tenmangu celebrates the end of summer with a complimentary Back-To-School Education Blessing, from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. The blessing honors educators and students of all ages so they may enjoy learning, take delight in new discoveries and persevere in their studies.
In conjunction with the blessing, the temple will host the Second Otaku Summer Festival from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. This event includes cultural demonstrations and performances, food and games, and will feature a Cosplay Contest and PokéStops for Pokemon GO enthusiasts. Entertainment by musical group, The Otakus.
