WHO/WHAT: The award-winning UH Manoa KIDS FIRST! Film Festival, presented by Outreach College, celebrates a decade of FREE family fun. This year’s festival provides quality entertainment for children and youth from 2 to 18 years of age — as well as the young at heart.
WHEN/WHERE: Sundays, June 26 and July 10 and 17 in the UH Manoa Art Auditorium.
June 26: 12:30-6:15 p.m. KIDS FIRST! Sustainable Summer ‘16 Film Fest: Films from around the globe with a focus on the natural world and our relationship to it and to each other.
• 12:30 p.m.: “Shimajiro and the Mother Tree,” for ages 4-18.
• 2 p.m.: “Shorts: Our Earth, its Land and Oceans,” for ages 5-12.
• 3:15 p.m.: “Youth Empowered For Change.”
• 5 p.m.: “Shorts: The Global Community of Children,” for ages 8 and older.
July 10: 3 p.m. “Lotte and the Moonstone Secret, from Estonia, plays (in English) for kids 4 years and older.
July 17: 3 p.m. “Canada’s Snowtime!” screens for ages 9 and older.
