WHO/WHAT: As part of the Art Lunch at HiSAM series, Onoe Kikunobu (Gertrude Tsutsumi), director of the Kikunobu Dance Co., Inc. and assistant instructor Onoe Kikunobukazu (Howard Asao), will highlight the customs, usage and performance usage of the “uchiwa” or “summer fan” in Japanese classical dance.

WHEN/WHERE: Tuesday, Aug. 25, from noon to 1 p.m. at the Hawai‘i State Art Museum, 250 S. Hotel St.
