A parent’s prayer: “O God, teach me to understand my children, to listen to them patiently, and to answer all their questions honestly. Let me never nag; and when I am out of sorts, help me to hold my tongue. Let me praise them for all deserving deeds. May I encourage them to think, to choose, and to make decisions. Make me an understanding parent.”
