The KOHO Radio Fan Club, which recently dissolved, closed out its treasury by donating the balance of its funds to help beautify the courtyard of the Japanese Cultural Center of Hawaii. The club was founded in 1943 to encourage and support Japanese language radio station KOHO, which aired Japanese programming from 1959 to 2000, and to encourage Japanese popular music, dance and culture.
