The Korean War Veterans Association of Hawaii Chapter 1 needs assistance for an upcoming book to commemorate the 60th anniversary of the end of the Korean War.
The book, “Korean War Vets in Action — The Story of KWVA Hawaii Chapter 1” will contain stories of Hawaii Korean War experiences before and after the war, as well as photos.
The group plans to distribute copies of the books to local libraries, community colleges, universities and high school ROTC. Donations are being requested to help defray the cost.
