This issue is dedicated to the achievements of U.S. Sen. Daniel K. Inouye. The Herald examines Senator’s role as the “engineer” of Redress and the Civil Liberties Act of 1988, Senator’s pivotal role in returning Kaho’olawe to the people of Hawai’i, and shares Senator’s words and views in an interview he did with the Herald in 2002.
