The Pacific Aviation Musuem Pearl Harbor celebrated the opening of its permanent Flying Tigers exhibit yesterday. The exhibit honors the World War II pilots who helped protect China’s skies with one of America’s most recognizable fighter planes. On hand at the dedication ceremony were a number of local dignitaries, including Gov. Neil Abercrombie, Sen. Daniel K. Inouye and Consul General of Japan Yoshihiko Kamo.
