This issue boasts stories on Japanese American New Year’s traditions as well as a feature story on Yuka Iwamoto, a half-Korean, half-Japanese actress in one of Korea’s most famous plays. Also inside, you’ll find columns by Louis Wai, Joseph Nye, and Kevin Kawamoto. And as a bonus we have included a special section dedicated to Hawaii’s Japanese American pioneers.
