NOTICE TO OUR SUBSCRIBERS
Due to increases in newsprint and other paper costs and the downturn in our nation’s economy, we will be raising the subscription price of The Hawai‘i Herald from $35 to $43 per year, effective Nov. 1, 2009. Per copy price will be $2.50.
First-class domestic subscription cost will be $78. Call for international subscription rates.
We understand that this is a difficult time, financially, for everyone in Hawai‘i and across the world. We sincerely hope that you will continue to support The Hawai‘i Herald in bringing you news from Hawai‘i’s Japanese community, unique perspectives from Japanese Americans living on the Mainland and abroad, historical and personal profiles, activities for children, sports, and much more.
We would like to thank you for your many years of support and are offering you an incentive to continue subscribing to Hawai‘i’s premier Japanese American journal.
From now until Oct. 31, 2009, you have the opportunity to extend your subscription at the current $35 rate. Renewals must be postmarked by Oct. 31. Renewals postmarked on or after Nov. 1, 2009, will be at the $43 rate.
