Hopefully, a lot of people in the Bay Area.
That’s because Made in Japan Teriyaki Experience, which is based in Canada, is set to open in San Francisco and in Contra Costa tomorrow, according to Bianca Torres from the Contra Costa Times.
The Bay Area invasion is just the beginning for Teriyaki Experience. The restaurant chain plans on opening 600 chains nationwide within five to seven years, featuring a mixture of “fast and healthy Japanese food.” That’s a lot of yakisoba.
I wouldn’t bet against them taking off either. With the exception of Panda Express, there are no option Asian fast food restaurants.
And “healthy” fast food? Count me in. Can’t wait until they come to Hawaii.
